Hyperbaric Spa offers a comprehensive 9-week Cancer Support & Metabolic Health Program inspired by the work of Dr. Thomas Seyfried in Cancer Metabolic Therapy and Dr. Thomas Incledon's research on exercise physiology, immunity, and recovery. Designed to complement conventional medical care, the program focuses on optimizing metabolic health, supporting immune function, reducing treatment-related fatigue, and enhancing overall wellbeing.
The program consists of three consecutive 3-week cycles. Each cycle begins with one week of intensive Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), delivered five days per week in 90-minute sessions, combined with a 5-day Fasting Mimicking Diet (ProLon®). This combination aims to promote metabolic flexibility, cellular renewal, autophagy, mitochondrial function, and healthy immune regulation. Through the Hyperoxic-Hypoxic Paradox (HHP), HBOT stimulates tissue oxygenation, angiogenesis, cellular repair, and regenerative pathways associated with recovery and resilience.
During the following two weeks, participants receive Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF), Infrared Sauna, and Exercise With Oxygen Therapy (EWOT). These therapies are designed to support circulation, recovery, detoxification pathways, physical conditioning, and immune health. Research suggests that exercise can increase IL-15 production, a key signaling molecule involved in immune surveillance, muscle preservation, and metabolic regulation.
The program also incorporates the Hippocrates “Food as Medicine” philosophy, providing guidance on nutrient-dense nutrition, restorative sleep, stress management, and lifestyle optimization.
