Stroke & Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Recovery Program
Hyperbaric Spa offers a comprehensive 12-week recovery program for individuals living with the long-term effects of Stroke and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), based on the pioneering work of Dr. Shai Efrati and the latest advances in neurorehabilitation and regenerative medicine.

The program is centered on intensive Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), delivered five days per week in 120-minute sessions. HBOT utilizes the Hyperoxic-Hypoxic Paradox (HHP), a powerful physiological mechanism that stimulates neuroplasticity, angiogenesis (the formation of new blood vessels), mitochondrial regeneration, and improved oxygen delivery to metabolically impaired brain tissue. Research suggests these processes can reactivate dormant neurons, strengthen neural networks, reduce chronic neuroinflammation, and support recovery even years after the original injury.

To maximize neurological rehabilitation, HBOT is combined with a scientific cognitive stimulation device designed to challenge memory, attention, processing speed, and executive function during periods of enhanced brain plasticity. By pairing targeted cognitive training with the regenerative effects of HBOT, the program aims to accelerate functional neurological recovery.

During the second phase, Transcranial Photobiomodulation is introduced. By delivering specific wavelengths of light to targeted brain regions, this therapy supports mitochondrial energy production, cellular repair, neural connectivity, and cognitive performance.
